An international team of nuclear experts has just identified a new previously undisclosed Iranian nuclear weapons site. They are calling on Tehran to admit the existence of the newly identified site to international inspectors.
While many of us are at home, we can take advantage of the offerings that so many museums, concert halls, orchestras and tour companies have made freely available to the public. One of these is the freaky popular Paris attraction--the city's catacombs!
The other day I saw a post being shared of all of the different cryptids in the United States and couldn't believe my eyes. There are so many supposed monsters! Most states have at least one legend of their own. They might as well have their own trading cards.
Those of us who are able to order food to be delivered to our homes right now are so, so grateful to the workers who are delivering it, and I hope everyone is tipping as generously as they can.
Violets are blooming all over the place where I live, making it the perfect time to infuse cocktails with a little violet magic! Violets add a pop of beautiful color to whatever you infuse with them, and it's quite easy to do if you already have violets at home.
People keep sharing this meme about what the countries with the best Coronavirus responses have in common, and I'll give you three seconds to guess what it is. Yep, they're all led by women, and is this really all that surprising? Who runs our households and makes sure people don't get sick on a daily basis? Even most of the caregivers on the front lines, nurses themselves, are women. It still boggles my mind that anyone would argue that a woman couldn't be the leader of this country when they micromanage households, schedules, routines, health needs, educational needs, budgets, jobs, etc.
This is a worldwide pandemic. If you're being hard on yourself about your eating right now... please don't. Unless you have a medical reason to eat a special diet--and even those sometimes have some flexibility--please go gentle on yourself right now. It's a good time to have a dessert if you want one, especially if you're making an easy dessert for one.
Those who enjoy Freddo chocolates this year may notice a little something different on the packaging. The well-known Freddo mascot is being replaced by photos of actual endangered frogs to help raise awareness about the plight of the frogs right now. It's part of the Save the Frogs program in Australia and New Zealand.
That's not all, either--there's also an augmented reality symbol on each package to help fans learn more about each frog. You can use it for an interactive learning experience.

Who doesn't love a fun round of karaoke, especially in the comfort of your own home? In my family, Singstar is our favorite mode of karaoke on the PS2, although we've used a generic karaoke machine for years in the past. It was always our big activity during family reunions.
Most of us are just living one day at a time right now, doing our best to get through each day's news cycle and stay healthy. Something my family's found to be a nice distraction is singing karaoke together, and of course our favorite karaoke songs are from the 1980s. My kid has sung "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" so many times that it almost feels like I've been on The Wedding Singer.
