Politicians Should Live in The Areas They Represent

sarajean's picture

In the Midwest, politicians, particularly those from the Right, have been scheming away the past few years, changing laws, re-zoning districts and otherwise making it a place where they can easily take control. It's not as red here as many people might believe, and it's frustrating for someone like me, who lives in a once-blue district, to see it go red over and over again after it's been re-zoned. My representative? She works for me, in my county, and one almost an hour away in another.

The Best Soup in Seattle

Soup is one of my all-time favorite foods. Even if it's not cold outside, I often find myself craving a good bowl of squash, chicken noodle or tomato soup with basil (complete with a grilled cheese!). Right now it's definitely soup season, and nothing is more comforting than a nice bowl of hot soup.

My favorite way to display a poem is still to paint it on a wall (and I've done that a few times!), but putting poems on glasses is a new trend that I could get on board with, especially if the chosen poems are meaningful ones.

Nope. The "reserves" were already out before they were even promised to the people and now people like Governor Polis are saying they are shocked.
